Transfer Application Checklist
If you are a transfer applicant, before you press “send,” make sure you have completed all the application items using the checklist below.
- The Transfer Common Application (CA) including:
- Academic Evaluation (CA)
- College Report
- Mid-Term Report
- Cornell University Transfer Questions and Writing Supplement (CA)
- Official secondary/high school and all college transcripts
- $80 application fee or fee waiver
- Items required by the Cornell undergraduate college or school to which you’ve applied.

College of Arts & Sciences
Submit a list of all college courses you have taken, or are currently taking, that are prerequisite courses or required courses for your intended major(s), along with course syllabi/descriptions. Students intending to major in STEM fields, including Economics, should also submit course syllabi/descriptions for all math courses taken at the college level. Please cut and paste the syllabi/descriptions for your courses into a single PDF or Word document. You will then upload this document via your Applicant Status Page. On the right-hand side, using the drop-down menu, select TR – Course Descriptions. Please give it the following file name: Last Name, First Name – Course Descriptions.
You can find the courses that are required for admission to and completion of Arts & Sciences majors on the college’s departmental websites.
College of Engineering
Please review course requirements prior to application. Required to submit official major-specific course description form as part of application.
