If I’m currently attending college and want to transfer, can I do so after one semester?

You should plan on completing at least one year of coursework before applying as a transfer student. Transferring after one semester is not advisable and is not permitted in most cases. So you would complete and submit your application for fall admission by the March 1 deadline. If you intend to complete only one semester of coursework at another institution, you must contact the admissions office in advance of submitting your application for spring admission.
