Overnight Hosting

We appreciate your interest in the Red Carpet Ambassador overnight hosting program at Cornell University. Overnight hosting is available on Sunday, November 6 and Thursday, November 10, 2016. Hosting is only available to current high school seniors.

Please register online at cornell.edu/visit at least two weeks in advance of when you’d like to visit. Overnight hosting is available on a first come-first served basis and space is limited.

Fall 2016 Individual Hosting Dates:

  • Sunday, November 6
  • Thursday, November 10

After you register for an overnight visit, the Red Carpet Ambassadors will email you directly for additional information.

Sample Itinerary:

Arrival Day

4:00 p.m.     Check in at the Undergraduate Admission Office, 410 Thurston Ave

5:00 p.m.     Student Panel: Current Cornellians will share their experiences and answer your questions

6:00 p.m.     Host matching at 410 Thurston Avenue

6:30 p.m.     Dinner with Red Carpet Ambassadors (Overnight guests must pay for their own meals. Dining halls accept cash or credit)

8:00 p.m.     Social event with Red Carpet Ambassadors

Departure Day

8:00 a.m.     Return your luggage to The Undergraduate Admission Office, 410 Thurston Ave, while you explore the campus!

Review the visitor options and register at cornell.edu/visit. Choose from information sessions, campus tours, observing a class. Check out http://events.cornell.edu/ for other events happening on campus and talk to as many students as you can.

3:30 p.m.      Return to The Undergraduate Admission Office, 410 Thurston Avenue, to get your luggage. Depart at your leisure.
