Student Support Services
Cornell is committed to helping its students achieve their full academic and intellectual potential, maintain optimal health, and reach their career goals. In support of that mission, the university offers services ranging from study skills workshops to on-campus healthcare to post-graduate planning.
Academic Support
Every Cornell student is assigned a faculty advisor to help them plan their academic career. Most of the undergraduate colleges at Cornell have their own academic advising offices as well. In addition, Cornell offers the following:

- The Center for Learning and Teaching (CLT) - Classes, tutorials, study skills workshops, and private consultation, as well as academic, housing, and transportation accommodations available through Student Disability Services
- The Writing Workshop - A walk-in tutorial service to provide help with all types of writing
- The Biology Advising Center - Resources and advice for prospective and current Cornell students interested in majoring in the biological sciences
- The Mathematics Support Center - Trained tutors to assist with homework, exam preparation, and general relief from math anxiety
- Computing at Cornell - Computer recommendations, course Web pages, a help desk for computer trouble-shooting, and online computer training classes
- The Office of Minority Educational Affairs - Counseling and advising, campus-wide advocacy, job placement and internship information, and access to New York State programs (HEOP, EOP, CSTEP)
Career Services
Students have access to a broad array of career-related resources at Cornell. There's one main Career Services Office at the center of campus, and each of the seven undergraduate colleges has a career services office of its own.
