Arriving on Campus
Finding your way around
Cornell’s campus is expansive, yet fairly easy to get around if you come prepared. Use the tools below to map your itinerary before you arrive. Feel free to stop at any of our Visitor Parking and Information Booths, located at the campus entrances, for directions once you arrive.
Coming by car or bus? Flying in or taking a train? Here are specific directions and information that will come in handy.
Use our searchable campus map to locate all the places you want to visit on campus. Then download and print a large campus map or small campus map to highlight your destinations and take along on your visit.
Parking is allowed with permits only and only in appropriate parking areas. Make sure to first stop at one of our campus Visitor Parking and Information Booths when you visit. Please follow all parking procedures.
If arriving on campus between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday, stop at one of the Visitor Parking and Information Booths, located at the campus entrances, to receive a complimentary parking permit and directions to appropriate parking areas. On weekends, some parking areas of campus are permit-restricted; student resident lots are restricted at all times. However, parking is available without charge in the parking garage and some other campus lots. Please read all posted signs carefully when parking. Because it may take you extra time to get directions and find parking, please allow a minimum of 30-45 minutes to park and make your way to your destination.
Be sure and check the weather before visiting so that you can dress accordingly for your visit and tours.
