CAMPUS VISIT Cornell Faces Cornell Campus

Schedule of Classes for Visitors

What's it really like to study at Cornell? The best way to find out is to sit in on a class. You'll get first-hand impressions of the level of instruction, the people who will be teaching you, and your potential classmates. Each college offers a wide range of classes for this purpose, at the first-year and upper-class levels.

To get the most out of this opportunity:

  • Arrive early and introduce yourself to the professor. Ask what the plan is for that day, so you don't wind up watching the class take a quiz or exam.
  • Plan to stay for the entire class.
  • Make sure to turn off your cell phone.
  • Please don't bring young children or video cameras into the class with you.
  • Please refrain from using any flash photography.

Classes have concluded for the spring 2008 semester. Please check back in mid-September for a listing of fall 2008 classes that you can visit.
