CAMPUS VISIT Cornell Faces Cornell Campus

Parking on Campus

If arriving on campus between 7:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday, you may stop at one of the Visitor Parking and Information Booths, located at each main campus entrance, to receive a permit and parking instructions. On-campus parking is by permit only, except in metered and time-zone areas, Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m., throughout the year. In addition, parking in some areas is restricted during evening hours and/or seven days a week.

If you plan to attend any of the admissions information sessions offered on campus please stop first at one of the Visitor Parking and Information Booths and identify yourself as an admissions visitor. You will be given, at no charge, a permit and directions to allow you to park in the designated parking area on central campus.

On weekends, some parking areas of campus are permit restricted between 7:30 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. Student resident lots are restricted at all times. However, weekend parking is available without charge in the parking garage. Please read all posted signs carefully when parking. Parking may be limited during weekend events such as football games, Homecoming and New Student Orientation. *Whether you are visiting on the weekend or on a weekday, you should allow at least 30 minutes for parking before the start of the admissions conference you will be attending.* If you require a handicap permit, you will need to stop at a Visitor Parking and Information Booth where you will be given a special Cornell permit to use in handicap spaces throughout campus.
