Application Deadlines

Cornell welcomes women and men from all 50 states and more than 120 countries around the world. They bring with them a wide range of social, economic, ethnic, and educational backgrounds.

Admission to Cornell is highly selective. Typically, more than 36,000 students apply for 3,150 places in the first-year class, and around 600 transfers enroll each year from an applicant pool of more than 3,000 students.
