Given public health concerns regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the New York State Department of Health, and per recent executive order by the Governor of New York, the university has, again, further implemented enhanced policies for campus community members and visitors. Additional information is available on Cornell's coronavirus webpage.
Until further notice, to protect and prioritize the health and safety of our campus community as well as our alumni, friends, and visitors to campus, all non-essential events, gatherings, visits, programming and travel are canceled. This includes cancelation of campus tours, information sessions, and admitted student programs. We will provide an update regarding when visitation and events will again be available to admissions visitors. Please navigate to our Virtual Visit site to learn more about Cornell, in the meantime.
The Cornell University Undergraduate Admissions Office, located at 410 Thurston Avenue, is also currently closed to visitors for an unknown period of time. We will provide an update regarding when the office will reopen to visitors as soon as we can. We encourage you to stay connected with us. You may still reach and engage admissions office staff, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EDT, via email at firstname.lastname@example.org and by phone at 607-255-5241. We also invite you to use MeetEzra, our searchable database of frequently asked questions (and answers).

In particular, the admissions data listed here are meant to give you a broad understanding of the kind of highly qualified candidates we admit to Cornell. These numbers should not be interpreted, however, to mean that objective data are the most important criteria in our selection process. Other factors, such as secondary school curriculum and performance, special talents, extracurricular activities, essays, and interviews (where required) are critical to our decision making as well.
