What is one piece of advice or something you wish you knew when applying?

Stay organized! Missing a deadline or not submitting something just because you forgot is the worst feeling and is completely avoidable. Make a to-do list, use a calendar with reminders, or whatever works so you don’t miss deadlines. And make sure to keep track of your logins for all of your portals!

What clubs/activities are you involved with on campus?

I am a member of Alpha Omega Epsilon Engineering Sorority, Salsa Pa’lante Dance Troupe, Meinig Family Cornell National Scholars, Undergraduate Admissions Office Diversity Outreach Interns, and an orientation leader.

How did you find your friends and community at Cornell?

I’ve found my friends at Cornell in all kinds of ways. Some I met while hanging out in common areas in my dorm, some in my classes, others through my clubs and activities, and others were introduced to me by other people. While I could find friends in many different ways, I would say that finding my community came from my clubs and organizations. Joining clubs is a great way to meet people with similar interests, which usually leads to great friendships.

Where is your go-to place to eat on campus?

My go-to place to eat on campus would have to be Morrison Dining. It is conveniently located on North Campus near many of the residence halls, and it always has plenty of options, so you can always find something you want to eat! My favorite things to eat at Morrison are the omelets, the tonkatsu pork cutlets, the tikka masala butter chicken, and the pizza!
