The Finger Lakes Tour is designed to provide school and community-based organization counselors with a comprehensive and immersive experience of our campuses, academic programs, student life, and the unique opportunities available to your students. During the tour, you will have the chance to:

  • Explore Cornell University: Discover one of the world’s leading research institutions. Tour our beautiful campus, engage with students and staff, and learn about the diverse academic programs and research opportunities available.
  • Experience Ithaca College: Get an inside look at the dynamic and creative atmosphere of Ithaca College. Explore our renowned programs in the arts, media, and communication, and engage in enriching conversations with faculty and students.
  • Discover Hobart and William Smith Colleges: HWS is known for consistent success in preparing students for lives of consequence through an outcomes-based focus on their futures. Learn more about our relationship-rich education through a campus tour and conversations with members of our vibrant community.

FAQs

The next tour will take place November 6-8 2024. The program will begin in Ithaca, NY at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, November 6 and conclude on Friday, November 8 after lunch.

Single accommodations, transportation and meals from Wednesday evening through Friday's lunch will be hosted by the Finger Lakes Counselor Tour institutions. Participants are responsible for their transportation to and from the tour, and any incidental expenses incurred during the tour. Travel Scholarships are available, interested counselors should contact tour organizers for more information.
