CALS is a great fit for me because it is at the forefront of scientific research, with one of its main missions to improve lives through practical solutions. It has provided me ample opportunities to participate in research, work with the community, and learn from the best of the best. I've been able to apply classroom knowledge to real-world problems, which has allowed me to grow both academically and practically while preparing for a career in veterinary medicine and patient care.
