I applied to Cornell as an Early Decision applicant because I knew that this animal science program would set me up to be successful in my future career and path to vet med. When I visited campus, I loved the fact that it was big enough to be able to explore for four years while also feeling close-knit and homey. As someone who learns by doing, the ability to not only learn from the extremely knowledgeable professors but also apply the material in hands-on settings was very important to me. I truly appreciate CALS emphasis on this when shaping their curriculum.
