The Cornell experience is unique because it sits at the intersection of academic freedom, interdisciplinary learning, hands-on opportunities, and a strong sense of community. I have been able to dive deeply into my passion for animals in many different ways, whether working in a wet lab, assisting with surgeries and clinical research projects, serving as a student stable hand at the equestrian center, or doing hands-on farm work for courses. Each of these experiences has been just as valuable as the work we do in the classroom.
