CALS is a great fit for me because, as an Agriculture Science major, the courses look at agriculture as something much bigger than just farming. It's about understanding the relationship between people, land, food, and the systems that shape our everyday lives. I love that I get to study the connections between producers and consumers, the environment, and the way society depends on these systems. What makes CALS even more special is that the campus itself feels like a place built for this kind of learning. From research labs to farms and field sites, you're surrounded by opportunities to actually see and study the systems you're learning about.
