To celebrate Black History Month, our Black Student Union took a trip to Washington, D.C. over February break. We had the chance to meet and connect with Cornell Black alumni as well as current professionals on Capitol Hill, which gave us insight into the political world and other areas where they excel. The trip was all about making connections, learning from their experiences, and expanding our networks, and that's exactly what I did. It was inspiring to see firsthand the impact and opportunities that come from building those relationships.
