What is your academic passion? (Chelsea Rivas (cr644))

Submitted by jrw354 on

My academic passion is studying the law and its relationship to social justice. What I enjoy most about studying Government at Cornell is being able to explore how legal systems influence society, particularly when it comes to issues like inequality and representation. I'm especially interested in understanding how law can be used as a tool to support underrepresented communities and challenge unfair systems. These interests have motivated me to think more deeply about the role law plays in shaping opportunities and outcomes for different groups.
