I found my friends and community through attending events and talking to people in my classes. Events are one of the best ways to make friends because everyone attending shares a common interest, making it easier to start conversations and connect. Many of the friendships I have now started with simple interactions, staying after class to talk, attending an event together, or realizing we had similar interests. Over time, those small moments helped me build a strong sense of community on campus.
