I chose Cornell because of its well-known motto, "Any person, any study," which reflects the opportunity to explore a wide range of academic interests. At the time, I was excited by the idea of attending a university that encouraged intellectual curiosity and allowed students to dive deeply into different subjects without feeling limited to one specific path. That openness to exploration was really important to me as someone who wanted the flexibility to discover what I was most passionate about.
