One piece of advice I wish I had known when applying is not to be afraid of the notoriously difficult classes. At the time, I felt intimidated and held myself back from trying new things. Looking back, I would tell myself not to let what you hear online about certain fields or courses scare you away. Instead, take the chance and go for it, because you might discover something you really enjoy.
