When applying, I chose Cornell because they had the perfect environment that I felt I needed to succeed socially and academically. First of all, Cornell's animal science program is world-renowned, and the R1 title helped because I knew I wanted to get into research during my undergraduate studies. Additionally, after touring, I really enjoyed the scenery and true college town atmosphere. Furthermore, upon learning about the vast clubs and organizations, I was really sold because I wanted to be able to find others who enjoyed and shared my interests.
