I chose Cornell because it was prestigious as an institution, and it was the only US school I got into. I also had offers from other universities in Hong Kong or the UK, but then they had less flexibility in minoring or changing majors. I also like the core curriculum at Cornell, where I could explore different subjects of interest. I am majoring in Bio, but I also like History and econ.
