My favorite thing about Cornell is how much nature is part of everyday life. The botanical gardens, the gorges, and all the quiet nature spots around campus make it feel peaceful, as well as being very vibrant. Especially during my first year, I loved sitting in the botanical gardens to study and listen to music. It is such a calm and beautiful place to take a break from everything and just enjoy nature.
