CALS is a great fit for me because of all of the hands-on learning it offers. Being part of a research lab has shaped a lot of my experience, and I appreciate how CALS encourages students to apply what they learn in class to a real-world problem. The CALS community and staff are always so kind and supportive, which has made my experience so special. The college's emphasis on practical, science-driven problem- solving, as well as collaboration, aligns well with my own values, and it has shaped what I would like to pursue in the future.
