What is one piece of advice or something you wish you had known when you were applying? (Lucy Clarke (lmc359))

One piece of advice I wish I had known when I was applying is to spend a little more time learning about the opportunities within your major. Cornell ended up being an amazing fit for me, but coming in as a first-year with a better sense of the labs, clubs, and programs available would have made the transition a lot easier. Knowing what you can get involved in early on helps you settle in faster and make the most of your first year.
