I chose Cornell because I've always loved being surrounded by nature, and the campus immediately felt like a place where I could see myself. When I started looking into the Food Science department, a few of the labs really caught my attention, and I knew I wanted to be somewhere that offered research opportunities for undergraduates. Cornell felt like the right fit academically and personally, and I came in excited about the chance to get involved in a food science lab during my time here.
