What I appreciate most about Cornell is the people. There is a real sense that students here care deeply about what they are doing. Whether it is in a research lab, a project team, ROTC training, or even a conversation walking across campus, people bring genuine curiosity and commitment to their work. Being around that kind of environment raises the standard for everyone. It pushes you to think more carefully, work harder, and take your goals seriously. Cornell also offers an extraordinary range of opportunities, and the culture encourages students to pursue them. In my time here, I have been able to engage in research, contribute to sustainability and design projects, explore questions around healthcare and technology, and take on leadership and service roles. What stands out most is how collaborative the environment is. People are willing to share ideas, help one another improve, and build things together. That combination of intellectual energy and supportive community is what makes Cornell such a remarkable place to grow.
