CALS is a great fit for me because it focuses on using science and data to solve real-world problems. As a Biometry and Statistics major, I like being able to study quantitative methods while still connecting them to areas like health, sustainability, and applied research. The college encourages students to think across disciplines, which aligns well with my interests in healthcare, technology, and public health. I also appreciate the collaborative and service-oriented culture within CALS. Many of my experiences in research, sustainability projects, and student organizations reflect the college's mission of improving lives through science. That balance of strong academics and real-world impact is what makes CALS the right place for me.
