One thing I wish I had known when I was applying is that it is completely normal not to have everything figured out. When I first started college, I thought I needed a clear and fixed plan. In reality, many students discover their interests through the classes they take, the people they meet, and the experiences they have along the way. My own academic path has evolved more than once, and each change helped me better understand what genuinely interests me. If I could give one piece of advice, it would be to stay curious and open to exploring new areas. Take classes that challenge you, talk with professors about their work, and get involved in activities that push you outside your comfort zone. College is one of the few times where exploration is built into the experience, and sometimes the opportunities you did not expect end up shaping your path the most.
