One of my favorite things to do in Ithaca is simply walking or running around and exploring the area. The town has a lot of character, and it is easy to discover something new just by taking a different route or wandering through a part of town you have not seen before. Sometimes the best experiences come from getting a little lost and seeing what is around the corner. I also enjoy going to the local markets and spending time in the downtown area. Places like the Ithaca Farmers Market are great because you can try different foods, see local vendors, and experience the community outside of campus. It is a nice change of pace from classes and studying, and it reminds you that Cornell is part of a really unique town with a lot to offer.
