I am inspired by the opportunity to serve others and use science to make a meaningful impact. The idea that research, data, and scientific discovery can improve people's lives is something that motivates me every day. Whether it is advancing medical knowledge, improving healthcare systems, or helping communities address public health challenges, I find a lot of purpose in work that connects science with service. I am also deeply inspired by the people around me. Being at Cornell means being surrounded by individuals who are passionate about their fields and committed to making a difference. Seeing classmates pursue difficult problems, lead organizations, and support one another pushes me to keep growing as well. That combination of service, scientific curiosity, and the drive of the people around me is what continues to motivate and inspire me.
