I found my friends and community from a few different places! My first friends were also Transfer Option students that I met over the summer through a large Discord group chat, and after meeting one another in person, we've been really close ever since! The Entomology majors are also a really tight-knit community because the major is so small, so I also made a lot of friends through shared classes and the Snodgrass and Wigglesworth Cornell Undergraduate Entomology Club. Finally, being involved in the Sport Taekwondo Club at Cornell also helped me to expand my circle of friends through shared experiences as teammates. It's really quite easy to find friends as long as you put yourself out there!
