My favorite class so far has been my public health course because it introduced me to the core ideas that shape the field. I learned about how public health is organized, how data and surveillance work, how diseases are prevented, and how health disparities show up in different communities. It also opened my eyes to the challenges and opportunities in the field and helped me see the different career paths connected to public health.
