What do you enjoy about being part of the Meinig Family Cornell National Scholars?

I’ve loved getting to know students who are truly passionate about serving their communities. Seeing my peers from all colleges thrive in their fields is inspiring and reminds me why I value programs like MFCNS.

What is your greatest leadership accomplishment? 

I’m proud to be a Bezos Scholar, an experience that shaped my leadership the most. Learning from scholars creating community-centered change constantly reminds me why I do this work.

How have you grown since coming to Cornell? 

Since coming to Cornell, I’ve become more adaptable and grounded. I’ve learned to advocate for myself and navigate challenging environments with confidence. Most importantly, I’ve developed a stronger sense of purpose in how I want to serve my community, both in the Rio Grande Valley and here at Cornell.
