What made you interested in transferring to Cornell?
I wanted a place that combined strong academics with a competitive athletic environment. Cornell offered both, along with a community that pushes me to grow. I knew that the work and connection I would make here would last a lifetime.
How long have you been wrestling, and what aspects do you enjoy most?
I've been wrestling since I was young, for over a decade now. I enjoy the discipline, the constant challenge, and the way the sport builds mental toughness. The lessons I learn on the mat are applicable to so much off the mat.
What do you think your greatest accomplishment has been so far— either as a Cornell student or a Tradition Fellow?
My biggest accomplishment hasn't been a specific moment but the rigor of balancing DI wrestling with academics while building strong relationships across campus. It's pushed me to stay consistent and grow as a leader.
How have you grown since coming to Cornell?
I've learned how to manage my time better, communicate more effectively, and step into leadership roles with more confidence. This is a place of excellence and that is what drives me every day.
