How to Submit Your High School Transcript
Please allow 5 business days for application materials to be added to your checklist.
First-year Students
We require your official secondary/high school transcript(s). Official transcripts must be signed or stamped with an official seal of the institution. In order to be considered official, they must be sent using one of the following methods:
- (Preferred Method) Online document delivery services. Cornell University Undergraduate Admissions Office will accept high school transcripts sent via

- Parchment
- SCOIR
- Scribbles
If you are unable to send your transcript via online/electronic delivery service, you can use this method:
- (Alternate Method) Postal mail or delivery service in an envelope that has been sealed by the issuing institution mailed to:

*Please note that you only need to use one of these methods. Please refrain from sending duplicate copies, unless otherwise instructed to by an admissions representative.
Transfer Students
We require your official secondary/high school transcript(s). Official transcripts must be signed or stamped with an official seal of the institution. In order to be considered official, they must be sent using one of the following methods:
- (First Preferred Method) Common Application “Add High School Official Recommendations” tool. This can be found on the transfer Common Application in the “Program Materials Section” on the "Recommendations" tab.
Applicants should communicate to the high school official that a written recommendation is not required, and only the transcript is requested.
