How to Submit Your College Report
Processing Time
Processing times vary with application volume. Near deadlines, submitted materials may take up to two weeks to appear as received in your Applicant Portal.
Submitting the College Report is a two-step process:
- You must submit the College Report Request form. Please identify the most appropriate college official (academic dean, faculty advisor, registrar, or another records official) from your current college or university to confirm your student status and then provide their contact information in the Request form. Once you submit this form, that college official will receive an email with a link to complete your College Report.
Please note that the College Report Request form is only available after you’ve submitted your application and logged in to your Applicant Portal. - The college official must submit the College Report form, verifying your student status. This form should be completed in its entirety. The To Do List in your Applicant Portal will be updated accordingly once they have submitted this form. Cornell University cannot review your application without a completed College Report.
We prefer that you submit Cornell’s College Report. However, if you are unable to submit our form, we will accept the Common App College Report instead. Please submit only one College Report.
If you apply by March 15, you can submit supplemental application materials—including the College Report—through April 15. Applicants who do not submit all required materials by April 15 will not be considered for admission.
