How to Submit Your Academic Evaluation
Processing Time
Checklist update processing times vary with application volume. Near deadlines, submitted materials may take up to two weeks to appear as “received” in your applicant portal.
Transfer applicants are required to submit one Academic Evaluation from a college instructor who has taught you in a course. This evaluation provides insight into your academic performance and preparation for Cornell University.
The Academic Evaluation must be submitted using one of the following methods:
- (Preferred method) Through the Common Application recommender invitation tool under My Application > Program Materials > Fall Transfer Cornell University > Recommendations.
- (Second preferred method) Via approved online document delivery services. Cornell University Undergraduate Admissions will accept Academic Evaluations sent through:
- Parchment
- SCOIR
- National Student Clearinghouse
- (Alternate method) By postal mail or delivery service in an envelope sealed by the instructor or institution, addressed to:
