How to Submit Your High School Transcript
Processing Time
Checklist update processing times vary with application volume. Near deadlines, submitted materials may take up to two weeks to appear as “received” in your applicant portal.
First-year Applicants
We require your official secondary/high school transcript(s). Official transcripts must be signed or stamped with an official seal of the institution. In order to be considered official, they must be sent using one of the following methods:
- (Preferred method) Online document delivery services. Cornell University Undergraduate Admissions will accept high school transcripts sent via:
- The Common Application
- Parchment (including eSCRIP-SAFE and Naviance portals)
- SCOIR
- Slate.org
(Alternate method) If the above methods are not available, applicants may send transcripts via postal mail or delivery service in an envelope sealed by the issuing institution, mailed to:

Note to Early Decision applicants: When mailing materials to Cornell, please write “Early Decision” on the mailing envelope.

Final High School Transcript
All admitted applicants who choose to enroll must submit a final high school transcript as soon as final grades are available. Please use one of the following methods:

Note: Please inform your high school official that a written recommendation is not required—only the transcript is needed. - (Second preferred method) Online document delivery services. Cornell University Undergraduate Admissions will accept high school transcripts sent via:
- Parchment (including eSCRIP-SAFE and Naviance portals)
- SCOIR
