As a proud parent and Cornell alumnus, watching my daughter begin her journey to Ithaca filled me with both nostalgia and excitement.

Before I started college, everyone told me that making friends would be “so easy.” You’ll meet people everywhere, they said.

We are kept apprised of everything on campus and have enjoyed amazing family weekend programming. Locally, we've met other Cornell parents at the annual New Student Send-off events and are enjoying the local Cornell Club activities and community.

It all depends on you, how you want to meet people and spend your college time, and who you want to spend your memories with for the rest of your college years.

Since my freshman year in high school, I knew I wanted to go to law school.

I urge every high school student to take the chance at something unexpected; it might just be the most life-changing choice you ever make.
